...and if co-author is not used or is inappropriate, you could use
the <othercredit> tag. Example:

    <othercredit>
      <firstname>Greg</firstname>
      <othername>J</othername>
      <surname>Ferguson</surname>
      <contrib>Conversion to DocBook SGML; updated section on
foo</contrib>
    </othercredit>

This goes in the <artheader> (DocBook 3.x) or <articleinfo> (Docbook 4.x)
section.
