it's like this for severl years now; Don't know for the future

no. Specially fitted for df or ls. Writes the output with units as Mb, 
Gb etc.

example:

  df -h

I mean no such original version available now :-) of coure somebody 
have to write a first version :-), but it's so old I don't think there 
are anymore a computer to make it run :-)
