I have a few questions about the Security-Quickstart-HOWTO:

1. Is there a process for transforming a distribution-specific HOWTO to a
generic (or universal) HOWTO? I ask this because it appears that the HOWTO is
geared toward users of the 'Red Hat Linux' distribution, while I use gentoo.

2. If so, could you please provide information on such a process? If no such
process exists, how do you suggest I implement such a transformation.

JA
