IF you wrote the DocBook such that it works with 4.0.2, and you
follow the guidelines of the LDP Author Guide (LAG), it should be
as easy as changing the doctype and adding a xml line.  The LAG covers
all this, and I was able to convert the entire LAG in about an
hour by hand.
