In response to a 2005 post (which I inadvertently deleted) it's not
clear that AsciiDoc is easier than LinuxDoc. With LinuxDoc its clear
what is markup and what isn't since the markup is enclosed in <>
brackets. AsciiDoc is something like wiki markup and it's not always
clear which parts are tags. So I think that since AsciiDoc is
convertible to both docbook and linuxdoc, one could write in AsciiDoc
and then make the conversion before submitting an update, etc. So I
don't think it's important for LDP to accept docs in AsciiDoc as was
proposed in 2005.
