contains descriptions. In particular, see

    DocBook Environment & Processing:
    The LDP document processing script (ldp_mk)
and
    PDF/Postscript Output (ldp_print)

ldp_print prepares a single-file HTML variant for use
with the htmldoc process. The script was co-authored
by Dan Scott, David Wheeler and myself.
