Hello All,

I read somewhere in a comment to my Bash guide
(http://www.tldp.org/LDP/Bash-Beginners-Guide/html/index.html) that it is
noticable that I'm not native English-speaking. While I appreciate the
criticism, because it is true, I would like a native English speaker to
look over it and give me a clear report on how bad the situation is.

The guide was reviewed about one year after it was online on my own site,
for inclusion into TLDP, but the remark that I came across did not state
which version it commented on, and it pointed to the URL on my own web
site, so I can not make out if it was commenting on some very old version
or not. Also, lots of tiny changes were made since that review, so it
might be possible that errors were introduced afterwards.

Who wants to do this?

Thanks,

Tille.

Tille,

If someone else replied to this already, I missed it...

I took a brief look at the BG. FWIW, I don't find any
significant language problems. Yes, there are a few
glitches here and there, but they're mostly minor, and
anyway I've seen writing in HOWTOs by native speakers
that is not as good as in the BG.)

If you really need more detailed comment,
I could eventually find time for a longer comment --
however, I don't think there is really a significant
problem with the doc.

Cheers,

Michael

OK, if that is the way you feel about it, I guess we better spare our
resources for other projects ;-)

Thanks for checking it out,

Tille.
