Hi all,

Just one more quick note before I stop thinking about LDP stuff for the
night.

Whenever changes are made to a document, we always add a revision
entry. If you take a look at the source file, you'll see the revision
history right above the document abstract (summary).

A new document is usually given Version 1.0 - "Initial release -
Reviewed by LDP" with the reviewer's or author's initials. Any previous
revisions should be below 1.0 (if there are many, ask the author if it's
okay to condense them into one, or put in its own section in the
document as a history). When the files committed into CVS, the version
numbers are tracked. If you're unsure what I mean, please ask for more
details.

For existing work, there should always be a version update and brief
comments added about what was done on review, along with the reviewer's
initials. If you take a look at any of the HOWTO source files, just
follow suit with the existing revision entries to create one, or you can
send it to me and I'll do it before it's resubmitted, if you like.

I just had an urge to say that out loud!

Thanks,
Tab
