The spelling of "Author:" is coming from the tldp-xsl stylesheet
customizations.  Open up and look for the line "<xsl:variable
name="authorlabel">Author: </xsl:variable>" and change the spelling. 
Thanks for pointing this out.  Perhaps this feature should be removed.

Sorry, should have said "open up 'tldp-html-common.xsl'" and look for...
