How can I write the literal & character in a document? Whenever I just
do &, the xslt processor thinks there should be an entity there (like
<), and &&; doesn't work. How am I supposed to do a literal & ?

Sorry for the second reply, but I couldn't resist a pedantic
alternative:

 <![CDATA[&]]>

You could also use the unicode equivalent - details on both types of
entities are at http://docbook.org/tdg/en/html/iso-num.html. If you go
up a level, you'll find the list to other types of character entities as
well.

I wanted to make sure you had the fishing rod, not just the fish!
