Subject:
indexing in RTF
From: "Dennis Grace" ####@####.#### Date: 4 Mar 2003 14:10:43 -0000 Message-Id: <OFDBFFC547.2B61A728-ON85256CDF.004D9344@pok.ibm.com> We created an index in HTML, no problem, but in RTF the index includes no page numbers. Are we missing something? Here are the steps our Makefile followed: rm -rf gLSB.junk mv gLSB gLSB.junk docbook2html -d ../docbook-utils.dsl\#html -o gLSB -p \ '/usr/bin/jade -V %use-id-as-filename%' gLSB.sgml if [ -d gLSB.junk/CVS -a ! -d gLSB/CVS ];then mv gLSB.junk/CVS gLSB; fi rm -rf gLSB.junk Then created an index.sgml with: collateindex.pl -N -o index.sgml docbook2html -d ../docbook-utils.dsl\#html -o gLSB -p '/usr/bin/jade -V %use-id-as-filename% -V html-index' gLSB.sgml collateindex.pl -o index.sgml gLSB/HTML.index Then went back to step #1 to recreate the HTML with the new index.sgml file. To create an RTF formatted file, then I start with the index.sgml that is loaded with URLs from the previously built HTML files!? docbook2rtf -d ../docbook-utils.dsl\#print gLSB.sgml This got us an index, but no page numbers. Thanks.
