Question on legalnotice with ldp.dsl
From: Tabatha Persad ####@####.#### Date: 8 Feb 2003 07:27:33 -0000 Message-Id: <1044689200.22817.213.camel@mysticchild> Hey all, When I process my xml file with the ldp.dsl, the legalnotice at the beginning is not showing up. Any idea? I'm using Docbook 4.2, Openjade 1.3.1, and I've tried the processing command two different ways: Try one: openjade -t xml -i html -d /usr/share/sgml/docbook/dsssl-stylesheets/html/ldp.dsl /usr/share/sgml/xml.dcl myfile.xml (where there were only spaces, not line breaks in the above) Try two: openjade -t xml -d /usr/share/sgml/docbook/dsssl-stylesheets/html/ldp.dsl#html /usr/share/sgml/xml.dcl myfile.xml (again, not line breaks but spaces above) I don't know why I think that mattered, but regardless, the legalnotice entry in the document doesn't display. I would like it to. Is this not included? Otherwise, I'll have to go about this a more creative way as the article is only a qandaset (FAQ). If anyone can think of what I can do different, please let me know! It keeps complaining that it failed to load the external entity (path to)docbook.xsl. Not sure why it would try if I want to use the ldp xsl. Is there something with the ldp.dsl that doesn't like the legal notice? Or do you know how I can get xmlto to pay attention to the xsl for ldp (in other words, what do I type..hehe)? Thanks, and sorry in advance if you still need more info, I should be in bed, it's 3:30am for me, way too late! Talk to you tomorrow!
