Dear all,

When I try to use jade wrapper ackage from Redhat, using db2html
converting the document to html, resulting in all tags are split. It
output something like this..

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN">
<HTML
 ><HEAD
 ><TITLE
 >My Title</TITLE
 ><META
NAME="GENERATOR"
 >

This is terrible, I try to use htmldoc to convert to pdf and it reports
"Segmentation fault", I think it crashs the htmldoc this way.
Any ideas?

David

This is perfectly valid HTML. It's ugly as sin, but it's done this way
to make sure that important line breaks aren't lost.

It's very doubtful that the extra line breaks are causing htmldoc to
crash. If htmldoc leaves a core file, you can try 'gdb -c core
/usr/bin/htmldoc', then typing 'bt' at the gdb prompt, but I suspect
that all of the debugging symbols are missing, so you won't get any
useful information.

If you want to clean up the HTML, try downloading html tidy, from
http://www.w3.org/People/Raggett/tidy/

Well, you can try the ldp_print utility (perl script) that I use.
Grab it from http://www.tldp.org/authors/tools/ldp_print.tar.gz
Check the README for details on usage.
