No, it's embedded into the HTML code itself (table w/black
background, "green" font color for text).

example - http://www.linuxdoc.org/LDP/abs/html/quoting.html
code    -

  <TABLE BORDER="0" BGCOLOR="#000000" WIDTH="100%">
   <TR>
    <TD>
     <FONT COLOR="#32CD32">
     <PRE CLASS="SCREEN">
       <TT CLASS="PROMPT">bash$ </TT><TT CLASS="USERINPUT"><B>ls -l

Sorry, none of the enhancements I have done have gone into
the creation of the print output; only HTML.

Since we (LDP processing) do not use the TeX route for producing
PDF and PostScript, I have not spent any effort working with
that area (nor do I have the time).

If someone, or some group, wishes to work on the "#print" area
of ldp.dsl, I will gladly integrate the changes. I've had various
people submit (excellent) changes/ideas for the "#html" area.

Godoy,

Well, yes... but then the HTML file for the HOWTO is dependent on
*also* having the CSS file around. Which makes it difficult for
someone to simply "Save As" the HTML file and keep it on their
system or post it on an intranet (as I know people do).

Now perhaps the CSS should be embedded in the HTML file... but that
might add more complexity to the stylesheets... I don't know.

Dan

P.S. I am, by the way, a huge fan of CSS... so I am NOT saying that embedding
the colors in HTML is a better *technical* solution, just perhaps a
better *practical* solution given our documents.
