I'm working on front matter for a book I'm working on, and it
seems the ldp.dsl doesn't handle <preface> when you're using
<book>. It doesn't get printed at all, so my PDF (using ldp_print)
doesn't have any of the copyright or foreward information in it.

Any way to add this in? Or tell me how to do it so I can have
a separate DSSSL here?

Hmmmm... I don't see anything in ldp.dsl that would *prevent* the
preface from being printed... and I know that in generating an
HTML version off of ldp.dsl it came through fine.

What version of Norm's DSSSL print stylesheets are you using?

I looked through 'print/dbcompon.dsl' and 'print/dbparam.dsl'
and I cannot see there, either, anything that would cause the
preface to NOT be printed.

Sorry I can't be of more help,
Dan

Dan -

Thanks for your help, I found the problem (it's in the filter
library - ldp_print - that takes the single-file HTML instance
and tweaks it to prepare for PDF/PS creation by htmldoc).

Fixed the ldp_print library (pre-processing filter) to handle the
preface properly -
