well... the problem is a no-problem for people using xml often. Vi or
emcs, correctly configured are very nice.
but, for my case example, I own a mini-HOWTO (partition rescue) that
needs very few updates, so I use docbook merely once a year.
I usually use vi that I know quite well (I _love_ emacs, but can't use
it daily for out of subject reason and if so emacs is unusable).
I used to use LyX for LDP, but LyX (last year :-) didn't allow revision
history tag :-( in docbook - LyX was perfect in linuxdoc times.
so the movement I try to rise for OpenOffice docbook generation. It's
already possible, but with a quite complicated install, but people are
working and I hope it will be soon better.
