Actually John, I can't help with the citation tag off the top of my head,
but I can tell you that from what I've read about Docbook, all indications
seem to be you need the end tag for the very reason you just described (the
processing doesn't allow for it)!  If I'm wrong though, I'm sure someone
else will point it out!

You can do it in Linuxdoc though! <grin>
