Subject:
Modifications by jdd to manifesto
From: David Lawyer ####@####.#### Date: 22 Sep 2008 12:48:12 +0100 Message-Id: <20080920074650.GG2343@davespc> I don't have time right now to find your message but the proposed modifications made to the manifesto stating the specifics of quality that we expect in LDP docs doesn't belong in the manifesto which is supposed to be a short, easy to read doc stating what the LDP is all about and is something like a constitution. Details need to be put elsewhere. Perhaps just a few words implying that LDP expects high quality documentation is what's needed: The goal of the Linux Documentation Project (LDP) is to create and distribute the canonical set of free GNU/Linux documentation. While What about just adding "high quality" after "free". Since it's stated as a goal, it doesn't necessarily imply that the current docs are of high quality. So my proposal is just to add two words to the manifesto. David Lawyer | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
