Using SGML for a Linux VCR-HOWTO
From: ####@####.#### Date: 5 Mar 2001 19:14:50 -0000 Message-Id: <Pine.LNX.4.30.0103051311340.20296-100000@lotus.slothmud.org> Hello, I'm new to SGML, but most of it seems pretty straight-forward. There is one thing that I'm not completely sure about. What am I'm supposed to put between <nidx> and </nidx>. This is also an announcement that I'm in the process of creating a VCR-HOWTO document for contribution to the LDP. I am currently converting it to SGML using the template provided. Thanks! -- Brian Hayward | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Re: Using SGML for a Linux VCR-HOWTO
From: ####@####.#### Date: 6 Mar 2001 08:19:46 -0000 Message-Id: <Pine.LNX.4.30.0103060212120.23334-200000@lotus.slothmud.org> Well, I've converted this document to SGML and then converted the SGML to HTML. If anyone has suggestions, feel free to pass them on. Time to send it to 'submit'. BTW, I tried validating the code with nsgmls and it complains about all of the missing end tags. Maybe this tool isn't the proper way to verify linuxdoc sgml. Alternate locations: http://www.slothmud.org/~hayward/vcr-howto http://www.geocities.com/slothmud/ I've got plenty of things left to add to this document, but I must sleep now. -- Brian Hayward --> --> |
