Isn't there already an Oracle 8 HOWTO at the LDP
(http://www.LinuxDoc.org/HOWTO/Oracle-8-HOWTO.html)?  Or does this cover
other topics than the ones covered in that document?

As Greg points out, we have one for that topic.

Please examine the existing HOWTO and work with the author; if
significant overlap occurs. Perhaps your HOWTO can be integrated
into the existing document (or otherwise)?
