There is a new -- and unfortunate -- wrinkle in the document submission
and update process.
I submitted an update to the Advanced Bash Scripting Guide about a week
and a half ago. The update never appeared. Lost without a trace.
Today, I e-mailed Greg Ferguson about it. He replied that he had never gotten
the update, and to resubmit it. I did.
Well, I got the automated reply below. All right, so I sent back a blank
e-mail and got another automated replay that my submission has allegedly
been released. Hopefully.
Note that the first time I submitted the update, I heard nothing. Got no
automated reply. Nothing.
Whose Bright Idea was this?
There has got to be a better way to filter out submissions.
Mendel
