Hi, all, This is resent due to the previous e-mails were broken for some unknown reason. Sorry for any inconvenient. I've written a mini-HOWTO on installing the Linux OS on a USB disk. Unpon success the whole OS (inclues the GRUB boot loader, the boot and root file system) will reside on the USB disk and the user could be able to boot from the USB disk.
