The only possible reference to an author is "martijn". I did find a mailing address in https://tldp.org/HOWTO/pdf/Adv-Routing-HOWTO.pdf but got a non-delivery report for it. I found another email address and sent email but haven't received a reply in four days. The reason for updating the current content is that:
- It is terse and doesn't cover the full subject
- It is confusing if not contradictory in that it refers to different rp_filter modes without distinguishing between them.
- Mentions disabling the feature but doesn't explain how.
I have prepared a replacement, what is the next step?
