I do this for getting only valid mirrors: lynx -source http://tldp.org/mirrors.html > sourcefile grep http sourcefile | grep -i ^'<li>' | cut -d "\"" -f4 - > mirrorlist You can see that I'm not a programmer but I hope you get the general idea: There are still some comments in the source HTML, but only valid mirrors as they appear in your browser when you point it to http://tldp.org/mirrors.html are put in the mirrorlist. In the source HTML, these are on lines that contain the string "http" and start with the string "<li>". We now have 238 mirrors that are doing fine. I am still waiting for reply from the maintainers for the ones that are commented out in the HTML source (39 mirrors). I hope you can do something with this, Saqib? Having contributed a HOWTO, mirrors of that show who is mirroring TLDP.
