Hi all,
the OSDL desktop architects meeting going on right now
is talking about the linux documentation problem.

See http://kegel.com/osdl/da05.html for my notes about the
meeting. Nothing there about this yet, but I'll add details
once the meeting's over.

Hello Dan,

I'm glad people are talking about the documentation problem. The main
issue, in my opinion, is that documentation just is not sexy. Also it
takes a lot of time to keep docs up to date - I should know, with a
backlog of 35+ corrections for the ITL guide.

Also, you refer to the Weekly News. This is currently somewhat of a
problem. I used to do the biggest part and Giridhar did a spell check and
XML validation. Then I did not have time to do that, and I left it to
Giridhar. But now he does not have enough time to do it on his own, so I
would like to ask who is willing to spend an hour every two weeks to
assemble the weekly news and publish it together with Giridhar. If you
are interested, please leave a note.

Tille.
