discuss: Thread: Obsolete HOWTO: MSSQL6-Openlink-PHP-ODBC

Hello everybody!

We have been working on translating into French the "Connecting to MS 
SQL 6.x+ via Openlink/PHP/ODBC mini-HOWTO".

However, the translation work has lead us to believe this document is 
obsolete and shall be removed from the LDP collection.

-> This document refers to a version of OpenLink that does not seem to 
   be available anywhere on the internet.

-> The current OpenLink version is not free anymore, but is a 30-days 
   trial version.

-> There is an available free version of OpenLink (iODBC, from 
   http://www.iodbc.org), but the instruction of this mini-HOWTO do not 
   seem relevant at all to this version.

Which means that it is neither possible for a user to get the software 
this document refers to, nor a free version to which these instructions 
would apply.

I cannot comment on the other topics covered by this mini-HOWTO, but I 
am skeptical they are still relevant.

I would like to suggest either removing or updating this document.
