The sample HOWTO at: http://tldp.org/authors/template/Sample-HOWTO.xml shows this DOCTYPE element: <!DOCTYPE article PUBLIC "-//OASIS//DTD DocBook XML V4.2//EN" "http://docbook.org/xml/4.2/docbookx.dtd" []> I was chatting with the folks in the #docbook channel on freenode, and they said that the URI of the DTD above should instead be: http://www.oasis-open.org/docbook/xml/4.2/docbookx.dtd which is some kind of "official" location for the DTD. Is there anything wrong with using the OASIS URI instead of the docbook.org URI in HOWTOs? -- Fran Litterio ####@####.####
