I noticed that my new suse 7.2 lyx recognise docbook in it's configuration
process and accept opening a docbook lyx template. It gives a sgml file, but
this don't seems to be docbook.
the docbook2html gives a lot of errot messages and you will find below the
result of the bocbook processor in line.
lyx error or error of mine ?

sending one DocBook SGML file as a mime attachment. You must
give the sgml file an .sgml extension so the system will recognize it.
This system does *not* support the linuxdoc DTD, only DocBook.
If the system was able to find an sgml file to process, the output of
`nsgmls -s foo.sgml' will be below.
If you believe your submission was correct, please write the sysadmin
at ####@####.#### and please include the version number and the
name of the sgml file.

Known Bugs
----------
A bug in some Microsoft mail clients will result in invalid mime
format if you send a completely empty message with an attachment.
If this happens, you will receive an error message saying that your
sgml file was not found.
DocBook DTD 3.0 and earlier are not supported, and will not be.
Please update your DocBook to 3.1 or later.
