The LinuxDoc package is now maintained by Taketoshi Sano

This means you can use the Debian bugtracker to check and add
bug reports.

It would appear this could match Debian bug report
#175575 "linuxdoc text rendition contains escape sequences".
Moreover the briefest perusal suggests there are a few bugs,
some of which are 9 years old, some reports contain patches,
so it would appear that maintenance of LinuxDoc-tools has
not been the highest priorities.
Does anyone here feel like taking over maintenance of it?
