Okay, maybe that's not a valid assumption. There could still be
bugfixes to it, or conversion to DocBook 8.3.4.6 circa 2010. ;-p

Very good suggestion. In fact, I already included in this specific
document that information, but I put it in the abstract for the
document. See http://www.lupercalia.net/docbook/david/ for my
rendering (Ferg hasn't published it yet -- it's Sunday).
So, I was planning to put document-specific stuff in the abstract, but
a very prominent "Archived!" box too to make sure it wasn't
overlooked.
