I agree and would like to see TLDP expand in the direction
of hardware. There are a few useful and free resources on
the net already:

I had hoped the Linux Brochure Project cooperation could demonstrate
how we can cooperate with external groups. Expereience so far is not
encouraging.
What does it take to revitalise TLDP?
