This should not happen. Don't lose hope.
Considering the people who handle submissions have not joined in on
this thread I believe the summer holiday season is taking its toll.

Regrettably it has happened before and with the shortage of volunteers
it could happen again. This does not mean we are satisfied with the
current state of affairs, we wish to treat our authors well.
Nevertheless it is not normal.
If you get no replies within two week, you could try another
email to the submit address.
