May be best to just leave off the "CVS access" coloring entirely..
"CVS is used from now on for all revisions" seemed
explanatory enough. And it seemed a little harder to see what was going
on now in terms of the legend items... the bottom box looks very different
from the other boxes which look about the same, or I would easily pass
for the same...
As rounded boxes and square/thick line boxes all seem fairly similar, whereas
the difference in colour showed the grouping right away, and
the whole thing is a little less straightforward to interpret/recognize than
your original, I think.
But otherwise, it's quite good, in my opinion.
