Hello Helen,
Sorry to hear about this. Probably the previous user of this address got
infected by a virus, and thus was open for spam. In those days, TLDP did
not have a spam-filter yet, as you can see. We are not putting these
messages on-line on purpose. We have an awful lot of them because our
mailinglists were not protected. A big part of the spams have already
been removed, but it takes time to filter out these bad messages. I'm
addressing the TLDP discussion mailinglist (which is now checked for
and protected from spam messages, rest assured) to see how we can speed up
this process.
