Hi tldp,
I'm looking for a home, in particular CVS, for the groff community's
revival of _Unix Text Processing_, originally published in 1987 and
written by Dale Dougherty and Tim O'Reilly.
http://home.alltel.net/kollar/utp/
The authors have made the book available under the Creative Commons
Attribution License. That means nongnu.org can't host it as that isn't
compatible with the FDL. SourceForge don't do `content' projects these
days.
Given it covers troff in great detail, we've re-entered the book's
source in troff, not DocBook or something else -- that was a key aim.
Consequently, it doesn't fit in with tldp. However, given it's an
excellent book, filling the `troff hole' in the free documentation
available, I was hoping that the project admins may allow us to host the
source under CVS even if outside tldp.
Cheers,
Ralph.
