No; probably not. Put it down to exasperation with the ever-ongoing
Linuxdoc vs. DocBook saga, which always drives me screaming from the room.
(Maybe we ought to ban all discussion of it from this list. It's
pointless; and never gets anyone anywhere. And it will *always* bring
out the worst in me.)
Plus the fact that the same misinformation had been published on the list
in the space of 24 hours.

<smile> This genuinely was not intended as an ad hominem attack. Rather a
statment on the general state of affairs and firmly entrenched positions
taken by each of the opposing sides in the Linuxdoc/DocBook wars.
(Actually, at an ad hominem level, I expected most people to turn it
around and try to apply it to *me*, if anyone.)
But hey, if you feel the caps fits, why not wear it? :-)
There you go. In this medium, you never can tell the response your
