And that's all I'm interested in at this point. The Author Guide is being
updated with a one paragraph footnote about how Debian deals with
licenses. It is simply a <warning> to authors and will not (as far as I
know) affect the manifesto in any way. I'm just trying to educate the
authors of the one instance where their license is going to make an
immediate and obvious impact on how their document is distributed. If
(some day) a second distro makes a distinction then I will post a
second <warning> in the Author Guide so that the authors can be aware of
the potential issues with that other distribution.

I hope everyone can appreciate the volume of email we've generated for one
tiny little footnote in the Author Guide. ;)
