Well I think this is already well thought up, thanks for theses precisions... :)

Don't you think this FAQ style content should be displayed in author's job description ?
As well, I think this 'in/out conditions' have to be clearely displayed for every job ?

This way when someone choose the role he has a full concise abstract of this. As well
a link to the available licences where such conditions are completely explained would be
security.

When he gives up he can assign it to somebody else or it can be adopted by
another person, if the license permits it. We've been checking the licenses
of several documents because of that: to ensure that if the author silently
disappears, we can update the document and assign a new maintainer to it.

We either have to wait or have his authorization to work with the document if
the license demanded us to (or if there's no license or just to be polite).
There are also author rights and all that stuff to consider.

I think that asking for a license that allow us to assign a new maintainer if
we can't find the author or if he gives up from the document is the safest
option. If none of these things happen, we have to:

- create a new document and drop the old one from the library
- create a complementary document and keep both
- try to convince the author of updating the document

It should be really thought up well, so that we don't have problems later...
