I chose the phrase "creating and maintaining" because I am under the
impression that TLDP encourages authors to keep their documents up to
date. It is certainly possible to have a "document maintainer"
position, but I did not see evidence of it on the current volunteer
list [http://www.tldp.org/vlist.html] which is what I am working from
at this point.
