I have read your article on it before but there seems
to be a good number of people who prefer public domain
stuff to even BSD or MIT licenses. I was pretty
suprised to see that this is the case with Sqlite

we can probably add some notes pointing out problems
with validity of public domain "license" and just ask
them to use a permissive license instead
