This depends. If there are not too many mistakes, one can help the
author fix them. But in other cases with a lot of errors, you have to
just try to get the author to find and fix them. So it's not always
close cooperation.

This is pretty low, but I guess it's better than nothing.

What about combined language/technical review? It's more efficient.
