Gareth has pursued a project of great ambition.
That's well and good: quality documentation is something
that is in short supply. However, some others are
pointing out that the gap between his ambition
and what he has so far achieved is still very large.
As others have pointed out, TLDP has limited resources, and
it would take a great deal of work to close that gap.
Most of that work will probably have to be Gareth's (the
size of his ambition is in the end his responsibility...),
since no-one has volunteered to co-develop the document.
I choose my words carefully -- what is required is further
development of the document. I do not believe it is possible
to technically review it in a meaningful way at this time,
except at the cost of great time on the part of the
reviewer(s): the document is simply too large, and the number of
errors to be found is too great. (Someone suggested starting
small with a subset in TLDP, and building up; maybe that is
the way to go.)

These are my thoughts only -- I'm not part of the
TLDP infrastructure in any way...

Cheers,

Michael
