Quanta Plus (http://quanta.sourceforge.net/,
http://kdewebdev.org) is a Free/Open Source HTML/XML/XSLT/...
editor included in most Linux distributions. It is not
affiliated with commercial versions of Quanta. On opening an XML
file, it loads the specified DTD (if available locally or on the
Web) and puts the tags from that DTD on the menus. Whenever the
structure view is chosen, the program verifies the XML. I used
Quanta Plus to create the latest version of the Unicode HOWTO.
