I'm not having this conversation.  

However, if you want to cure your ignorance of licensing and law, you
can start with _reading_ GPLv2 and seeing for yourself that it proclaims
itself to operate under copyright law.  For further information, please
also "Understanding Open Source and Free Software Licensing" by Andrew
M. St.  Laurent (O'Reilly & Assoc.) and "Open Source Licensing: Software
Freedom and Intellectual Property Law" by Lawrence Rosen (Prentice Hall).
