The 802.1X howto still needs a language review - a technical review
should not be necessary (but if anyone want's to do a technical review
- it would be great!).

Don't be scared of the "arcane" subject; "802.1X" is the new
authentication method used in the new wireless security standard
802.11i (standardized this summer). 802.11i is supposed to take over
for the flawed WEP encryption used in todays (old) 802.11 wireless
equipment.

I think the HOWTO is a great read, and clearifies all the new security
terms in the new standard. Both WPA, 802.11i (WPA2), 802.1X and key
managment is explained. It is a great opportunity to get a brief
introduction to wireless security and how to use it under Linux.

The reason I'm sending this email, is that it was written this summer
(first posted the 23. July), and still hasn't recived any reviewers..
I think that is a shame, since I think the howto is documenting a
topic that is lacking in the open source community.

The HOWTO can be found here:

   http://www.gnist.org/~lars/courses/04thales/8021X-HOWTO.html

If you want to do a review, it would be best if you used the XML
source of the document and either send me the diff (or, if you don't
know what that means, just send me the corrected XML file):

  http://www.gnist.org/~lars/courses/04thales/8021X-HOWTO.xml

I've also created a TXT version here (NB! missing images!):

  http://www.gnist.org/~lars/courses/04thales/8021X-HOWTO.txt

I hope to hear from volunteers, and yes you *will* get your name on
the howto! ;)
