Why not just replace it with the prior version. This is obviously not a
properly reviewed upgrade. I personally don't agree with removing documents
unless replaced with something better.
I would take on this document except that I would be doing the work at home
where the family uses windows and I can't see how to edit or display docbook
on windows in the LDP author guide. I could edit in text but do need to be
able to display.
I also have concerns re the licensing in the manual
