Doug White of NIST told AEC (broadcast on C-SPAN) about plans to 
archive certified voting software and provide hashes of the 
files for verifying installations, and for possible law 
enforcement use in case of problems.

De Soaries commented that the less the panel understood of the 
NIST proposal, the better he felt about it.
