First off, thanks for the feedback, it's always appreciated.
I guess it depends on your level of paranoia. I prefer IP's because the
Stratum 1 timeservers I use don't re-ip often and it prevents any DNS
spoofing issues. Those are access-control lists on your primary
time servers after all...
However, with that said, I see no issue using hostnames in your
internal client NTP configurations. It's completely up to the
implementer to make the call.
