The upshot of the original discussion re: this HOWTO is that for
professional researchers, translating a religious text with as rich
and complicated a history as The Bible is a non-trivial and archane
art; something that (eg.) Babelfish can't even begin to approximate.

Right now, people use dedicated software written for Windows to do
this. The HOWTO's author wants to show that with the help of Windows
emulators, this can also be done on Linux. He also wants to encourage
the eventual development of native Linux tools for the purpose.

That's why it was approved. It has little if anything to do with
Xtianity, or any other organized religion. What you might think if
you saw this HOWTO in a list of other TLDP HOWTOs is irrelevant. TLDP
supports the production of documentation which its users want and
need. Period. I don't personally support (or disapprove of) the use
of many softwares and hardwares mentioned in TLDP HOWTOs. This is
simply one more of the same to go along with VNC, Oracle, Citrix,
Winmodems, and many others tangential to Gnu/Linux itself.

I strongly suggest everyone DROP this discussion and wait for the
eventual release of the HOWTO. Right now, all discussion of it is on
tangentials. I shall henceforth ignore any mention of this subject.
