Hello Christopher,

We do have multiple documents that treat the same subject from different
points of view. Sometimes this creates a certain amount of overlap, but
on the whole we try to differentiate and make clear what a document is
about from its title. For instance: we have 4 documents about Bash:
- - Bash programming intro HOWTO
- - Bash prompt HOWTO
- - Bash Guide for Beginners
- - Advanced Bash Scripting HOWTO

Eventually, superficial browsing might even come up with the From Powerup
to Bash prompt HOWTO. To the uninitialized, this might seem as if TLDP is
just taking on anything, but in order to get these documents submitted,
each author had to give reasons why it would be a good addition and how it
complements other documents instead of duplicating them.

I hope this example helps. If not, feel free to discuss the subject
further on this list.

Tille.
